Tumble Dryers

How swapping tumble dryers works

Tumble Dryers is part of Kitchen Appliances on Swapster — the UK marketplace where members trade items directly instead of buying and selling for cash.

Do I need to test electrical appliances before swapping them?

Yes — plug it in and check it powers on and completes a full cycle before listing (kettles, toasters, slow cookers). A working appliance with a small cosmetic mark swaps far faster than an untested one described as "probably fine."

How do I swap large furniture items safely?

List the exact dimensions and whether it needs flat-pack disassembly, and arrange collection rather than delivery for anything that needs two people to lift — most furniture swaps fall through when size or access wasn't checked beforehand.

Is it hygienic to swap kitchenware and bedding?

Only list kitchenware and linens that are washed, sanitised, and in good repair — chipped crockery, stained bedding, or anything with odours should be donated or binned, not swapped.

What's the best way to photograph furniture and home decor for a swap?

Shoot in daylight from a couple of angles including any damage close-up, and include one photo showing scale (next to a door or a person) — furniture with only a single zoomed-in photo gets far fewer offers.
