Do books need to be in perfect condition to swap?

No — used, page-worn paperbacks swap fine as long as pages aren't missing or water-damaged. Just describe the actual condition (creased spine, annotations, etc.) rather than grading everything as "good."

Can I swap video games without the original case or manual?

Yes, but say so clearly — disc/cartridge-only listings still get offers, they just suit buyers who don't mind. Pairing with the wrong platform is the most common mismatch to avoid.

Is it legal to swap DVDs, CDs, and games I own?

Yes, swapping physical media you legitimately own is no different to selling or lending it — you're passing on your own copy, not distributing digital copies.

How do I know a game or film disc still works?

Check the disc surface for deep scratches and confirm it loads before listing, especially for older or rarer titles where a buyer won't have an easy way to verify it after collection.
